Events & Sponsorship Lead

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Events & Sponsorship Manager to support the planning and execution of large-scale company events and identify high-value event and sponsorship opportunities for different business teams.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in the crypto or Web3 industry, strong event-related connections, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex event operations with close attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on the end-to-end execution of major company events, including planning, timelines, budgets, vendor management, onsite operations, and post-event evaluation.
• Act as the key point of contact for external vendors, event organizers, venues, and production partners.
• Develop clear event workflows and ensure that all deliverables, deadlines, and operational details are properly tracked.
• Work closely with internal teams, including Business Development, VIP, Marketing, PR, Social Media, Product, Compliance, and regional teams.
• Understand the business objectives of different teams and identify relevant event, speaking, networking, and sponsorship opportunities.
• Evaluate event and sponsorship proposals based on audience relevance, business value, brand exposure, potential partnerships, and expected ROI.
• Negotiate sponsorship packages, vendor quotations, commercial terms, and additional benefits to achieve the best possible value for the company.
• Maintain and develop relationships with event organizers, industry associations, conference partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Support guest management, speaker coordination, VIP arrangements, agendas, event materials, and onsite execution when required.
• Prepare event proposals, internal updates, budget breakdowns, performance reports, and post-event reviews.
• Identify operational risks and proactively resolve issues before and during events.

Requirements

• Proven experience in events, sponsorships, partnerships, marketing, business development, or a related role.
• Previous working experience in the crypto, blockchain, Web3 , fintech, or digital asset industry .
• Existing connections with event organizers, conference platforms, industry associations, vendors, or relevant partners.
• Professional fluency in spoken and written English .
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency is highly preferred.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and workstreams simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong follow-up capabilities.
• Strong negotiation and commercial evaluation skills.
• Able to communicate confidently with senior stakeholders, vendors, business teams, and external partners.
• Proactive, accountable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
• Willingness to travel and support onsite event execution when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale international conferences, executive events, VIP dinners, exhibitions, or sponsorship activations.
• Experience handling event budgets, contracts, procurement processes, and vendor negotiations.
• Good understanding of the global crypto event landscape and key industry conferences.
• Ability to connect event activities with measurable business outcomes, such as client acquisition, partnerships, leads, brand awareness, or product adoption.
