Job Skills / Requirements As an unarmed Security Officer at DK Security, your duties may vary depending on the site you are working. This opening is at a multi-warehouse distribution center for a large Midwest retailer. Multiple officers are on duty at a time. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to Delivery Access Control - Check in/out Semi Truck deliveries at the Guard House using computer software. Patrolling - Walk the interior and exterior of the various buildings on site, keeping an eye out for security, safety, or maintenance issues. Mobile Patrol - Drive the security vehicle around the site, patrolling parking lots and building exteriors. Warehouse Access Control - Ensure the client's employees complete their COVID health screenings. Provide next step directions depending on results. Delivery Access Control - Check in/out Semi Truck deliveries at the Guard House using computer software. Dispatching - Follow procedures in dispatching personnel for emergency and non-emergency response. Monitoring - Accurately and quickly utilize computer-aided software and monitor CCTV system using recording devices. CURRENT OPENING: Control Center - $19.50/hour : Monday & Tuesday 12AM - 8AM Guard House - $18.50/hour : Saturday & Sunday 3PM - 11 PM Benefits (eligibility requirements apply): medical, dental, vision, life insurance, group accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, identity theft protection, and paid medical leave. QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent. May NOT have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Must be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and randomly thereafter. Must present a friendly, positive, and professional image. Must be willing to become CPR/1st Aide/AED Certified Must have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record. Less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years Less than 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years No other major violations in the last 3 years. Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking long distances, and possibly up and down stairs Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
