Overview To provide excellent guest service through deli department activities. We are excited to announce that Lowes Foods Store 286 in Kannapolis, NC will open soon! The store will be packed with all our Guests’ favorite concepts that we can’t wait to share with this community! Responsibilities Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests. Perform assigned duties in a fast‑paced work environment while interacting with guests and team members. Explain product available in the specific area (ingredients, flavors, menu items). Actively provide samples to guests and explain offerings as needed. Efficiently prepare product for sale (frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, pricing and cooking). Maintain product level, quality and freshness according to station guidelines. Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area. Communicate guest requests to management and/or satisfy requests in a timely manner. Communicate temperature and/or product breakdowns to supervisor. Keep supply and work area neat, clean and tidy at all times. Maintain proper grooming and uniform standard. Execute and train on duties of all hosts as outlined above. Work with management to ensure proper standards are maintained. Work with management on orders. Assist in completing schedules. Perform front‑end duties to ensure a "no noticeable wait" standard is maintained. Announce specials and sale info on the PA system. Assist in product receiving and storage. Perform all other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year prior food service preparation experience is a must. Prior supervisory experience is a plus. Friendly, outgoing personality. Ability to work well with others. Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally. Ability to read and understand information and direction. Effective communication, customer service and selling skills. Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time. #J-18808-Ljbffr Lowes Foods, LLC
