Engineering Aide (Temporary) Job Category: Engineering Support Services Requisition Number: ENGIN009730 Location: The ARA Better Fuels Group (BFG) Schedule: Full‑time, 8‑hour shifts with occasional 12‑hour shifts. Overtime available as required. About the Role: The engineering aide provides technical and operational support to engineers by gathering, maintaining, formatting, compiling and manipulating technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Data is recorded to assist engineering evaluation or analysis. Essential Functions Maintain pilot plant documentation and logbooks. Operate pilot plant equipment safely and precisely. Accurately compile data to summarize experimental results. Carry out all assigned tasks in an exemplary professional manner. Experience and Skills Required High school diploma or equivalent. 1–2 years of related experience. Mechanically inclined with experience setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment. Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, and related software). Ability to lift 50 pounds and move drums. Experience and Skills Preferred Experience working in a lab or pilot plant environment. Experience with high temperature and high pressure systems. Experience with LabView.
