Performance Engineer

[About the Role]
Join our dynamic technology team in Charlotte, NC as a Performance Engineer. In this senior role, you will drive critical performance testing initiatives to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of reliability and scalability. Leverage your expertise to identify system bottlenecks, optimize performance, and deliver seamless user experiences.
- Analyze test results to identify root causes of performance issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement performance improvements
- Create detailed performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders
- Stay current with the latest performance engineering tools, trends, and best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements [Required Skills and Experience] - 8-12 years of hands-on experience in performance engineering
- Proficiency in performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter)
- Strong background in analyzing and tuning application performance
- Deep understanding of system architecture and distributed systems
- Expertise in scripting and automation for performance testing
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills [Preferred Skills] - Experience with cloud-based performance testing
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines focused on performance
