In this position you will manage all company networks to ensure the security of all information. Additionally, you will design and implement new preventative solutions to network issues. This is a great opportunity for motivated individuals who want a chance to work in a fast-paced environment and learn some new skills, all within the Latrobe/Youngstown, PA area.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Oversees network infrastructure and securityMonitors network activity and configures network systemsMaintains and controls computer networks related to configurations, hardware, program software, and structures softwareTroubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves software, hardware, and network issuesLays out the design and implementation of new solutionsProtects data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measuresMaintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applicationsConfigures firewalls and other network precautionsPerforms disaster recovery operations and record backups in the event of an emergencyProvides support to all users to resolve networks issuesKeeps current with technology trends and changes related to positionPerforms other duties and tasks as assignedQualifications and Skills:US Citizenship is strictly required for national defense and aerospace complianceBachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields required3-5 years of network security experience preferredExperience working with LAN and WAN preferredExperience with VM Ware and Microsoft 365 preferredStrong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardwareAbility to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllersKnowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocolsAbility to create accurate network diagrams and documentation or design and plan network communication systemsUnderstanding of diverse computer systems and networks including virtual servers, Microsoft operating systems, and terminal server environmentStrong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsPossess outstanding organizational and time management skillsAbility to work in team environment and is flexible to changing demandsAbility to stand, sit, or move around for prolonged periods of timeAbility to perform repetitive hand motionsBenefits Offered:401(k) with a company matchMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid HolidaysLife Insurance and AD&DWestmoreland Mechanical Testing & Research, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to recruit, hire, train, and promote in all job categories without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or other status protected by applicable law.
