Shift Type: Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute break); schedule includes Mondays-Wednesdays with occasional Sundays

Hours per Week: 24

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility and independence
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team to coordinate patient care
• Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home care
• Support a safe, healing environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Georgia
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
• Previous experience in inpatient rehabilitation, hospital, or skilled nursing setting preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Compassion and dedication to patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy assessment and treatment techniques
• Understanding of rehab documentation and regulatory standards
• Ability to develop therapeutic exercise programs
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient and family education
• Time management and adaptability in a changing environment
