We are committed to helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life.About the roleWe are actively recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Counselor (LCPC, LPC, LCSW-C, or equivalent) to join our therapy team in California, MD. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for professionals who excel at working with children, adults, and families, communicate effectively, and are passionate about supporting clients in achieving emotional well-being, resilience, and improved quality of life.The role involves providing individual, family, and group counseling; conducting assessments; developing individualized treatment plans; and collaborating with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support progress both in the clinic and in everyday life.This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team, participate in ongoing professional development, and make a lasting difference in the lives of clients and their families across St. Mary's.What you'll doConduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and psychosocial histories.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children and adults with emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.Provide evidence-based counseling and psychotherapy (individual, family, and group) for concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship issues, and adjustment difficulties.Educate and support families/caregivers with strategies to reinforce progress outside of sessions.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in treatment planning, case reviews, and discharge planning.Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with clinical, ethical, and legal standards.Ensure compliance with HIPAA and stay current with best practices through ongoing professional development.QualificationsCurrent Maryland license as LCPC, LPC, LCSW-C, or equivalent.Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or a related field.CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain).Clear criminal background check.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team, adapt to change, and manage priorities.Passion for supporting children, adults, and families in achieving mental health and personal growth.BenefitsHolidaysPTO Jury Duty LeaveBereavement Leave401k after one yearHealth, Dental, Vision, ancillary benefits, Short-Term Disability, Life InsuranceTuition AssistanceThe pay range for this role is:$32-$47 per hour USD per hour
