You will work closely with client business and IT stakeholders, FIQ delivery teams, integration teams, and automation partners to ensure the solution is practical, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with Manhattan WMOS standard capabilities. \nEngagements may include large retailers and 3PLs, template-based multi-site rollouts, legacy WMS migrations, complex distribution operations, and highly automated facilities involving ASRS, AMRs, WCS/MHE, sortation, conveyance, print-and-apply, parcel, and other warehouse technologies. \nThis is a highly client-facing role requiring both deep Manhattan WMOS/MAWM expertise and the ability to lead design decisions, influence stakeholders, challenge requirements, and drive teams toward a common solution. Mandate \n\n Own the end-to-end functional and technical solution design for Manhattan WMOS/ Manhattan MAWM implementations. \n\n Translate business processes, operational requirements, and functional requirements into detailed WMOS solution designs. \n\n Establish design principles and ensure configuration teams remain aligned with approved requirements, solution architecture, templates, and design decisions. \n\n Challenge requirements and proposed customizations where standard WMOS functionality can meet the business need. \n\n Define the appropriate use of standard functionality, configuration, extensions, interfaces, and custom development. \n\n Provide design governance throughout build, testing, deployment, and hypercare. \n\n Lead integration design discussions across ERP, middleware, WCS/MHE, automation, parcel, transportation, and labeling platforms. \n\n Identify solution risks, dependencies, assumptions, and design gaps early and drive them to resolution. \n\n Serve as a trusted technical advisor to client IT and business stakeholders. \n\n Mentor WMOS consultants and help establish FIQ's Manhattan delivery standards, templates, accelerators, and reusable assets. \n\n Support pre-sales activities including solution strategy, estimates, proposals, demonstrations, and client presentations. \n\nMust Have \n\n 8+ years of hands-on Manhattan WMOS/MAWM experience, with substantial recent experience in Manhattan WMOS/MAWM. \n\n Strong hands-on experience with WMS solution design, configuration, and implementation. \n\n Demonstrated experience serving as a WMS Design Lead, Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or equivalent senior WMS design role. \n\n Ability to explain and defend WMS design and configuration decisions based on specific warehouse workflows and operational requirements. \n\n Strong understanding of WMS capabilities, configuration options, constraints, and integration touchpoints. \n\n Experience designing solutions for complex warehouse processes such as receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, cycle counting, returns, wave/planning processes, and value-added services. \n\nSolution Design & Architecture \n\n Proven ability to lead end-to-end WMS solution architecture and functional design from requirements through deployment. \n\n Ability to convert business requirements into: solution architecture, functional design, configuration direction, Integration requirements, process flows, technical specifications, and POCs/prototypes where appropriate. \n Strong ability to distinguish between standard WMOS functionality, configuration, extension, customization, and integration. \n\n Experience evaluating customization requests and determining whether requirements can be addressed through standard WMOS functionality or configuration. \n\n Experience establishing and governing global/template solutions across multiple sites. \n\nConfiguration & Integration Governance \n\n Experience directing WMOS configuration teams and reviewing configuration for: functional correctness, design compliance, completeness, scalability, template alignment and solution quality.\n\n Ability to identify gaps between approved design and actual configuration. \n\n Experience managing design decisions and ensuring traceability from requirements through configuration and testing. \n\n Strong understanding of configuration dependencies and downstream impacts of design decisions. \n\n Strong understanding of WMS integration architecture and ability to define interface requirements and integration specifications. \n\n Experience integrating WMOS with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or equivalent systems. \n Experience working with middleware/integration platforms and client-owned interface.\n Understanding of warehouse automation and material-handling integrations, including.\n WCS/MHE/ASRS/AMRs/Sortation/Conveyance, Print-and-apply, Parcel/shipping systems and Label management. \n\nClient Leadership \n\n Experience working within complex enterprise implementation programs involving multiple workstreams and technology teams. \n\n Strong ability to manage technical risks, assumptions, dependencies, and design decisions. \n\n Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills. \n\n Comfortable working directly with CIO/IT leadership, WMS teams, warehouse operations, enterprise architects, integration teams, and automation partners. \n\n Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. \n\n Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment when there are competing requirements or design opinions. \n\nNice to Have \n\n Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, life sciences, or pharmaceuticals, including special handling, lot, or serial control requirements \n\n Experience migrating from legacy WMS platforms \n\n Hands-on SQL or other database-querying experience for data validation and troubleshooting \n\n Experience with MuleSoft or other middleware integration platforms \n\n Experience with WCS, parcel and shipping, or label management system integrations \n\n Exposure to Manhattan Active Warehouse Management \n\n Pre-sales, solutioning, or estimating experience \n\n Experience mentoring consultants or helping build a consulting practice \n\n Prior experience at Manhattan Associates or a leading Manhattan implementation partner \n\nKey Responsibilities \n\n Lead functional & technical design and architecture decisions on Manhattan WMOS engagements \n\n Translate business and functional requirements into clear POCs and technical direction for configuration teams \n\n Review configuration work for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with templates and approved design \n\n Define integration requirements and support validation across ERP, middleware, MHE/WCS, parcel, and labeling systems \n\n Coordinate across client IT groups to align on interface specifications, timelines, and dependencies \n\n Evaluate extension requests and document the business need, impact, and recommendation for each \n\n Support test planning, SIT/UAT execution, defect triage, and resolution \n\n Plan and support cutover, go-live, and hypercare \n\n Maintain a clear record of technical risks, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions \n\n Present technical recommendations and status to client and FIQ leadership \n\n Contribute to FIQ's Manhattan practice through templates, accelerators, and best
