Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Stepdown (IMCU) position requiring an NC or compact RN license and prior cardiac stepdown experience for a night shift contract.

Details

• Work in a Cardiac Stepdown (IMCU) unit, functioning as a step-down from the ICU
• Patient population includes post-heart cath patients and higher-acuity cardiac patients
• Manages a variety of drips including Precedex, Endotool (insulin drips), 0.3% NaCl, dopamine, and dobutamine
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active NC RN license or a compact RN license with NC as the issuing or applicable state
• Prior cardiac stepdown or IMCU nursing experience required
• Proficiency with cardiac drips and higher-acuity cardiac patient management
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
