Job Title

RN – Perioperative Services – Recovery (Epic)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Rotating Shift – 5 x 8s

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a perioperative recovery setting
• Monitor and assess post-operative patients during the recovery phase
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions
• Respond to changes in patient condition and implement appropriate nursing interventions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current, hands-on Epic EMR experience
• Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years
• Documented work history indicating the charting system(s) used at each position; if multiple EMR systems were used at a single employer, dates must be provided to clarify when each system was used
• Must have successfully completed at least one prior contract or have been employed by an organization in a similar role
• No requested time off (RTO) during the contract period; start date is firm

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a perioperative or post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) setting
• Familiarity with Epic conversion or go-live environments
