Diesel Mobile Service Technician

Central Auto & Transport is a family owned & operated company that has been in business for 100 years. We are looking for a Mobile   Diesel Mechanic  to fill our needs including maintaining our fleet, and working on customer vehicles on the road. Our success is attributed to our employees. Job duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform minor & major repairs on trucks & trailers off site using service truck
• Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in Mobile Service Truck
• Collaborate with other repair team members to diagnose vehicles and plan repairs
• Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks
• Maintain and submit daily accurate records of each repair perform on vehicle

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 year of experience with Diesel Diagnosis
• Ability to perform Federal Annual Inspections
• Solid understanding and adherence to safety and environmental standards
• CDL is preferred but not required in all cases
• Excellent reading and writing skills
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
• ASE Diesel Certification is not required but is preferred
• Possession of one's own tools is required
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour
