Maintenance Technician

Production OperatorThe Production Operator will take a hands-on role in the production of Poly-ISO insulation by performing a variety of tasks to maintain the proper flow of materials through the production process.Duties and Responsibilities:Operate production equipment and packaging equipmentFollow production schedules, job instructions, quality standards, specifications, and proceduresDetect and/or correct and report faulty operations or defective materialsCalculate output: square feet, sheet length, and linear feetMeasuring, cutting, and gluing materialsEnsure safe equipment operation and personal safety complianceMoving materials using a forkliftMaintain good housekeeping and workplace organization (5S/Lean Manufacturing)Other production responsibilities as needed and assignedRequired Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skillsSkills in using power and hand tools such as chop saw, table saw, band sawStrong verbal communication and listening skillsAbility to follow instructions and read production ordersAbility to effectively communicateAbility to read measuring gauges such as a tape measure and calipersAbility to operator a forkliftCompetencies:Teamwork: Builds trust with others by encouraging open dialogue and collaboration.
