Job Location: Woodland, WA 98674 Salary Range: $22.00 - $26.00 Hourly Located in Woodland, WA, LifePort is the leading manufacturer of medical transportation and interior products as well as ballistic armor protection systems for fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Position Overview Plans, prepares, controls production schedules and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames by performing the following duties. Essential Functions Coordinates all functional department inputs for scheduling finished goods and intermediate products within the Master Scheduling time horizon. Able to review customer contracts for information relevant to scheduling constraints. Establishes and distributes work plan for each phase of project. Confers with project staff to outline work plan and assign duties and responsibilities. Monitors activities of project personnel to ensure progress on schedule. Prepares project reports for management, client or other stakeholders. Represents organization as prime contact on assigned projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordination between organizations. Partners with Production and Purchasing to maintain Manufacturing Lead Times, Standard Hours and Purchasing Lead Times. Leads project kick‑off meetings to align all functional groups with the released sales order, identifying additional risks. Coordinates with Production Control and Stores to direct timely release of work orders and delivery of kits to the shop floor. Ensures Master Planning Schedule supports the current production delivery schedule. Advises management of status of work in progress, material availability and potential production problems to ensure necessary personnel, equipment and materials are provided. Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data. Creates and reviews shortage reports for outstanding Purchase Orders and confirms delivery dates to meet work order start dates. Communicates priorities for processing workflow through receiving, inspection, stores or other departments to ensure timely delivery. Analyzes impact of non‑conforming materials (MRB) to determine action plans and ensures follow‑up by internal departments. Communicates changes in the production schedule to align value‑stream revenue recognition. Identifies product and build‑flow improvements to eliminate non‑value added operations. Ensures master plan for procurement of raw materials and production of finished goods and intermediates is adhered to in alignment with supply/demand plans and customer service levels. Provides Make/Buy analysis on manufactured parts. Competent in all aspects of Production Control responsibilities. Creates Bills of Material, modifies Item Cards and processes ECO changes as required. Creates standard production work orders. Develops routing operations to guide production technicians. Qualifications Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multitask. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills and high initiative. Excellent written and verbal communication. Works independently and possesses high self‑motivation and initiative. Maintains high confidentiality. Proficient with MS Suite (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook). Proficient with ERP/MRP software. Must meet Export Control compliance requirements; a ‘US Person’ as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.14 is required. Education, Certifications and Experience AA/AS degree and/or 6–9+ years related experience. BA/BS degree with 3–6+ years related experience. Physical Demands and Work Environment Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.
