About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room, Open Heart Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Vascular and CVOR nursing License: Current Registered Nurse license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - At least 1 year of Vascular experience - Ability to work in other types of surgical cases - Knowledge of the DaVinci robot Description: The RN will work 36 hours per week, consisting of 3 twelve-hour shifts. The position requires participation in a call rotation every 2nd or 3rd weekend, with 2 call days per week and holiday rotation. The RN will primarily work in Vascular but will also need to float to CVOR and General OR when there is no vascular need. Candidates with minimal requested time off who are willing to meet schedule demands will receive priority consideration. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours within the 13-week contract. All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission and will be honored as per the confirmation page. Additional information regarding specific requirements will be provided upon interest in the position. Holiday coverage is required.
