Job Summary:
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology on the night shift at a healthcare facility in Reno, Nevada. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, including those receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other cancer treatments. The nurse will work within a fast-paced, Level II Trauma Center environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license, at least 2 years of nursing experience including 1 year in oncology, recent 6 months chemo/oncology experience, prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment, BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. Will be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period. Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts. Travelers must work 2 of the 3 major holidays, with the holiday coverage including Eve + Day for one holiday. The facility serves a large regional area and is equipped to handle complex trauma and stroke cases.
