Job Description We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach Dental Assisting Courses. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach courses relating to Preventive Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry, Dental Office Procedures, Dental Specialties, Expanded Functions and other courses that will train students for the Dental Industry. The typical teaching load is 2 courses each module. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation. Requirements Diploma /Degree Required in Dental Assisting Certification in the State of PA - Radiology & Certified Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant At least three of experience in the field of practical in-field work experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized, motivated and results driven Prior teaching experience preferred Company Description Fortis Institute is proud of our long history of providing education to students that leads to the opportunity to learn, grow, and move into a rewarding career.
