Department Highlights: Facilitate access to health services for underserved community members Role is connected to system changes to address social determinants of health Empowered to be a servant leader in Community HealthHere's What You Need: High School Diploma or equivalent (required) 1 year of customer service experience (required) CHAA – Certified Healthcare Access Associate (Upon Hire Preferred) CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (required within 90 days)Here's What You Will Do: Welcome patients and visitors in person and over the phone using professional, compassionate communication that includes greeting, introduction, clear explanation of processes, expected timeframes, and gratitude. Accurately identify and register patients for Mobile Health visits, ensuring complete and compliant documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Collect and verify demographic, medical, and insurance information, ensuring all required forms and consents are obtained and uploaded appropriately. Verify insurance coverage and eligibility, obtain necessary authorizations, and communicate coverage details or out-of-network implications to patients. Provide exceptional customer service by proactively addressing patient needs, concerns, and questions throughout the registration process. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and departmental privacy standards at all times. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
