Contracts ManagerThe Opportunity:As a contract manager, you use your sharp negotiation tactics and talent for organization to help manage critical documents. We need you to bring your advanced contract management expertise to our Other Transaction (OT) team, where you’ll be a trusted advisor and a valuable team member who finds creative solutions to complex problems for an advanced technology company. On our team, you’ll use your advanced contracting knowledge to capture, implement, and manage a range of proposals and contracts within various markets. In this role, you’ll touch every element of government acquisition, from beginning stages to completion. You’ll review and analyze solicitations for potential risks, guide suggested proposal strategies, and advise leadership on risk mitigation strategies.As a trusted business partner, you’ll provide full lifecycle support with a focus on terms and conditions negotiation, whitepaper and proposal support, project execution, and risk mitigation for OT prototype and follow-on production contracts or agreements. You'll provide expert advice and counsel to account executives and their program leadership on contractual matters, including contract types, regulatory and corporate policy compliance requirements, organizational conflict of interest, risk management, mitigation, and intellectual property negotiations, and monitor operational performance. Additionally, you'll support complex contract activity that requires the development of specialized contract vehicles and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives.At Booz Allen, you’ll work with a collaborative team where you’ll leverage your acquisition knowledge and be empowered to succeed. Join us. The world can’t wait. You Have:4+ years of experience with federal contracts supporting U.S. government programsExperience in negotiations or proposal preparationExperience with FAR, DFARS, and OT authority frameworksKnowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and non-FAR acquisition environmentsAbility to support complex contract activity that requires the development of specialized contract vehicles and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectivesAbility to draft non-routine contractual instruments and use independent judgment and creativity to resolve contractual issuesAbility to review and interpret solicitation requirements, contractual terms and conditions, statement of work, and compliance obligationsAbility to work independently while exercising sound business judgement and risk assessmentAbility to travel up to 25% of the timeBachelor’s degreeNice If You Have:Experience with the DoD Software Acquisition PathwayKnowledge of intellectual property, data rights, and export control requirements related to OT agreementsAbility to manage robust contract portfolios of various sizes, scope, and complexityPossession of excellent verbal and written communication skillsNCMA Professional CertificationCompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
