APRN (1404)

Job Purpose:
- The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) at Lifestream Behavioral Center will provide comprehensive mental health care services to patients. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with psychiatric disorders. The APRN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality behavioral health services and support the overall mission of the center to enhance the well-being of the community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Delivers medical healthcare services to individuals in the inpatient, outpatient and residential facilities as assigned and to determine the most appropriate level of care required
- Performs and/or assists in treatment/procedures
- Accurately assesses client's needs and prioritizes care
- Develops effective client treatment plans
- Documents service provision in an accurate and timely manner via the EHR.
- Prescribes and monitors medications under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer or covering physician.
- The ability to comply with the regulations requiring a workplace of dignity and respect and equal employment opportunity compliance.

Required Education:
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of practice and board certification ANCC or AANP required.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
- Experience in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders preferred.

- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest practices in mental health care.
