Job Description As our Junior Risk Analyst, you will: Perform empirically derived analysis to understand business performance, identify improvement opportunities, and develop strategies and recommendations Leverage your strong quantitative, critical thinking, and communication skills in all of your projects and assignments Be accountable for the accurate construction and evaluation of data sets, graphs, and reports Present your work regularly to your team and to stakeholders, and provide supporting evidence for your recommendations Manage and manipulate large data sets using a variety of software packages Recommend and evaluate test strategies with a focus on profitability and implementation Analyze underwriting strategies and criteria and develop strategies to improve portfolio performance Effectively communicate analytical approach, relevant findings, and recommendations with supporting evidence throughout the organization Regularly audit all datasets, analysis and presentations for accuracy Perform ad-hoc queries and create ad-hoc reports to support analysis Interact with various business area managers on a regular basis Qualifications Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or related field or equivalent experience Excellent problem solver, disciplined attention to detail, great communicator Strong ability to work proactively and collaboratively in a cross‑functional team to drive results Intermediate skills using Microsoft Excel Strong quantitative skills and communication skills, both verbal and written Self‑starter with the ability to work independently or in a team Ability to learn MS SQL Server (experience is preferred) Additional Information Ready to make the move to a new beginning with Genesis?
