Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and be committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.
Position Information
- Role: Registered Nurse
- Specialty: Emergency Room
- Number of Openings: 1
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
- Weekend Hours: Rotating weekends/as needed
- Call Requirements: None
- Float Requirements: As needed
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- BLS
- Handle with Care (available on-site)
- NIH
- PALS or ENPC
Experience Requirements
- Years of Experience: 5+ years in Emergency Department. Candidates with both ICU and ED experience will also be considered.
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Extensive experience in the Emergency Department.
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: Additional emergency room experience is an asset.
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 31 beds and 2 triage rooms; 7 beds designated for behavioral health or acute patients.
- Patient Ratios: Typically 1:4, with possible exceptions during high-volume days.
- EHR: Primarily MedHost (ED) and Meditech for admit holds and behavioral health patients.
- Patient Population: Serves all ages.
Work Environment
The Emergency Department is designed to provide comprehensive and immediate care to patients in need. Candidates should possess a professional demeanor, exhibit compassion, and work effectively within a team environment.
Dress Code
Scrub color is the traveler's choice.
Additional Notes
All travelers must consent to random drug screening and complete a criminal questionnaire/consent form. Random drug screens will be conducted on-site.
