Job Overview The Tear Down Technician should possess a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work overtime as needed. Responsibilities Assemble blowers and exhausters according to blueprints. Work with the Engineering Department and the Quality Assurance Department to troubleshoot and solve problems. Apply standard work practices. Follow all safety rules, environmental regulating procedures and utilize required safety equipment when appropriate. Adhere to 6s (5s) principles, clean, organize, and properly store all equipment. Operate Crane and Fork Truck to move equipment and parts (training and certification provided by the company). Operate machinery and hand tools as necessary. Requirements 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints. 1+ years of experience with assembly experience. Core Competencies Ability to use various power (Pneumatic) hand tools (i.e.; power screwdriver, socket etc.). Proven track record of delivering high-quality assembly work, demonstrating attention to detail and adherence to standards. Must be able to perform repetitive lifting/carrying of up to 20 lbs. Preferences HS Diploma or GED preferred. Higher Education or certificate is a plus. Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements This position will be based 100% onsite at our Moody, AL facility.
