Advances policies and practices that sustain working lands, connected landscapes, and native species. Provides a collective voice and peer network for landowners in the American West. Position Overview: Supports policy and communications objectives through research, analysis, and writing. Analyzes federal, state, and other public policy issues affecting working lands. Translates complex topics into practical information for policymakers and other audiences. Key Responsibilities: Monitors and analyzes policy developments including legislation, regulations, and administrative actions. Drafts and edits issue briefs, comment letters, talking points, web content, and more. Collaborates with staff to integrate policy priorities into communications strategy.
