Emergency Medicine Physician Lakewood Health System Staples, Minnesota

Join a high-performing rural healthcare team in the heart of Central Minnesota. Lakewood Health System is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine physician to provide exceptional emergency care in our Critical Access Hospital Emergency Department.

Position Highlights

Rural Critical Access Hospital Emergency Department
Level III Trama Center
Approximately 9,000 annual ED visits
Primarily night-shift schedule: 6:00 PM 8:00 AM
8 10 shifts per month
One weekend per month required
Broad scope emergency medicine practice
Collaborative and supportive clinical environment
Modern facilities with strong specialty support and transfer relationships
Supported by an APP during higher volume times of the day and weekends

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
- Emergency Medicine, or
- Family Medicine
Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota
Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills
Commitment to patient-centered rural healthcare
