Core Cutter
Geotemps is seeking 2 Geologic Core Cutters with expertise or willing to learn drill core cutting, sample preparation, core handling, and core shed operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively within a geological exploration team.
Responsibilities:- Cut rock core samples using a diamond-blade core saw
- Label and organize samples for analysis and storage
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the core cutting area
- Assist with basic documentation of samples
- Comfortable working with rock saws (training provided)
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to lift and handle core boxes (up to 50 lbs)
- Safety-conscious, reliable and able to pass a background check and drug test
- OSHA 10hr certification or MSHA certification
- Must be able to communicate and write effectively in
