Accounting & Finance Manager Global RE

Were partnering with a highly respected global private investment firm thats looking to add a Manager to its Real Estate investments & finance team . This is a broad fund finance role supporting a sophisticated portfolio of private real estate investments and offers meaningful ownership across accounting reporting valuations fund operations and team management.

The position is well suited for someone with a strong foundation in real estate accounting fund finance or Big 4 audit who is ready to step into a more senior seat. Youll work closely with senior finance leadership investment professionals administrators auditors and other teams across the firm while overseeing key financial processes for the platform.

Highlights

Broad ownership: Oversee financial reporting NAVs valuations capital activity audits and other core finance functions across private real estate funds.
High-level exposure: Work closely with senior finance leadership and investment professionals on fund activity portfolio reporting and complex transactions.
Leadership opportunity: Review work performed by junior team members and third-party administrators while helping develop the broader finance team.
Real estate focus: Gain exposure across fund-level accounting property operations investment valuations and the full lifecycle of private real estate investments.
Cross-functional role: Partner with Investment Investor Relations Tax Legal external administrators and auditors on a wide range of reporting and investment-related matters.

Responsibilities

Oversee quarterly NAVs investor capital statements financial reporting and supporting work prepared internally or by third-party administrators.
Review quarterly and annual financial statements and ensure reporting is accurate and consistent with underlying fund activity.
Manage the annual audit process and serve as a key point of contact for external auditors.
Oversee management fee carried interest capital call distribution and other partnership calculations.
Support quarterly valuation processes and review financial information related to underlying real estate investments.
Monitor fund liquidity cash activity investment funding requirements and other fund-level activity.
Review financial reporting from portfolio investments and analyze property and investment performance.
Partner with investment teams and other internal stakeholders on acquisitions dispositions financings and other investment activity.
Maintain the integrity of portfolio accounting systems and underlying general ledger records.
Research accounting and industry guidance as it relates to private real estate investments and financial reporting.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting controls systems and finance processes.
Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members
