Respiratory Therapist - Night Shifts

This is a 13-week contract position.

Mixture of 12-hour (7 PM - 7 AM) and 8-hour (11 PM - 7 AM) shifts. Every other weekend required. 0.9 FTE.

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality care in a tobacco and fragrance-free facility. The respiratory therapist will be responsible for caring for patients, including those with COVID-19, and may be required to assist in various clinical procedures.

Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, and geriatric populations.

Utilize advanced equipment and therapies, including BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow nasal cannula.

Perform arterial blood gas analysis and interpret results to inform treatment plans.

Assist in high-risk deliveries and provide emergency respiratory support when necessary.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Respiratory Services and Rapid Response Teams.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.

Must hold RRT or CRT certification.

Experience with electronic charting systems, preferably Epic.

Current certification in BLS and NRP is required.

Ability to work every other weekend and occasionally on holidays.
