Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days or Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro ICU setting within a teaching hospital environment
• Monitor, assess, and document neurological patient status using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established protocols
• Adapt to unit needs, including potential reassignment to other departments or units as required

Required Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand prior to start
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Teaching hospital experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Prior Neuro ICU experience
• Prior Trauma ICU experience
