Hyperlogistics, a 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) Warehouse & Distribution Services company near Rickenbacker Airport, is looking for a Maintenance Technician to fill their facilities maintenance opening. This position will support all 4 warehouses and average about 40 hours per week with a starting hourly rate of $30 per hour to start.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain multiple (4) warehouse facilities, both inside and outside, in a safe, productive and efficient manner.
• General maintenance and repair work in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and drywall.
• Repair dock lights, lights, and other minor electric appliances.
• Assist in maintaining sprinkler systems and coordinating testing of the system.
• The repairing and maintenance of racks, dock plates, dock doors, and the overall building.
• Assist in watering forklifts.
• Work closely with others in department and share responsibility in solving problems, coordinating work activities, and repairing equipment.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of shop and shop equipment through regular inspections.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Prefer 5 years' experience in general maintenance and repair work.
• Must be able to perform general maintenance and repair work on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Must be able to do minor drywall work.
• Experience performing routine preventive maintenance tasks on light industrial equipment, racking system, dock plates and dock doors is a plus.
• Able to operate a Crown Standup forklift.
• Other jobs as assigned.
• Pass a background check.
• Have a clean driving record as they will have access the company’s pickup truck.
