Overview
CT Tech – Radiology in Hermiston, OR (US) for a travel assignment beginning 06/08/2026. 13 weeks in a critical access setting with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts, Fri–Sun, 7:00 am–7:00 pm. The role combines computed tomography and diagnostic radiography, with a 50/50 split and frequent float to X-ray duties as needed. This is a temporary travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiography procedures and CT scans, producing images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
- Operate CT equipment, select appropriate protocols, and obtain diagnostic CT images; maintain image quality and patient safety.
- Floats: perform X-ray procedures as needed, up to half the time, while ensuring patient comfort and clear communication.
- Prepare patients for procedures, verify clinical history, obtain informed consent when applicable, and educate patients about procedures.
- Position patients and equipment, immobilize as needed, and apply aseptic technique; monitor and respond to patient conditions during procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation, identify images accurately, and assist licensed practitioners with interventional radiography and contrast administration per policy.

Requirements
- Licenses/registrations: OBMI and ARRT registered CT technologist
- Certifications: Current BLS certification
- Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Additional: Ability to perform CT and diagnostic radiography procedures; willing to float to X-ray duties as needed; CRASE training preferred; if the assignment extends beyond 6 months, CRASE training will be required
