Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,453–$2,696 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, 1900–0730 Start date: August 11, 2026 Location: Cambridge, MA, United States Floating required: Yes Orientation: Hospital orientation followed by two shifts on the unit with a preceptor Licensure: Massachusetts RN license (active or conditional) with NURSYS verification Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care on a Med Surg Telemetry unit for adults, including monitoring telemetry, administering medications (antibiotics, anticoagulants, blood products, Lasix, amiodarone), and infusions per physician orders Respond to acute changes in patient status; participate in code/rapid response as needed Perform bedside nursing tasks, including assessments, documentation in EPIC, IV therapy, and patient education Manage common diagnoses and conditions such as COPD, DM, CHF, Sepsis, pneumonia, and alcohol use disorders; coordinate care plans with the multidisciplinary team Ensure medication administration accuracy, charting, and reconciliation; utilize Pyxis, zebra scanners, bladder scanners, dopplers, and other unit equipment Float to related units as needed; maintain compliance with unit protocols and hospital orientation, with a preceptor during initial shifts Requirements License: Massachusetts RN license active, current or conditional; NURSYS verification pulled within the last 7 days Education: Registered Nurse with graduation from an approved RN program Experience: 1–2+ years in Med Surg or Telemetry within acute care Certifications: Current AHA BLS required; ACLS preferred Skills: Telemetry experience, EMR experience (EPIC preferred), ability to administer IV medications and blood products, and competence with common unit equipment Additional: Must work in a hospital setting, be able to float as needed, and have a valid driver’s license with address matching demographics Submission requirements: Up-to-date resume with 1–2+ years Med Surg/Telemetry, 2 recent MS/Tele Charge RN/Manager/Supervisor references, skills checklist, and MA RN license verification; RTO must be included at submission and not guaranteed after confirmation Other: Willing to accept first-time travelers; flu vaccine required during the season Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the engagement Extension opportunities and ongoing engagement options Nationwide assignments and access to housing resources #J-18808-Ljbffr
