Registered Nurse Operating Room

Role The Registered Nurse Operating Room provides specialized perioperative care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment. Responsibilities Prepare for surgical procedures by ensuring equipment and supplies are ready. Assist with post-procedure cleaning, supply management, and setup for upcoming surgeries. Educate, supervise, and delegate tasks to staff according to competency levels. May rotate to other areas, performing duties within demonstrated skills. Qualifications & Skills Current RN licensure in the state or multi-state license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS and PALS within 6 months. Minimum one year perioperative (OR) experience. Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. CNOR certification preferred.
