Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Acute Care Float Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 2 Years Required License: Current RN License in Good Standing Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: - Stepdown Experience - Critical Care Experience Preferred - Previous Travel Experience Strongly Preferred Description: Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit. Provide leadership within the nursing team. Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team. Focus on promoting evidence-based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families. May support emergency room overflow, adult and geriatric psychiatry, and inpatient rehabilitation units. May be responsible for pediatric patients when floated to the emergency room depending on the RN's experience. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Safety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with state regulations. COVID-19 Vaccine: Required. Flu Vaccine: Required.
