About the Position

All Star Healthcare Solutions is representing a facility in Ohio seeking a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon for ongoing locum tenens coverage.

Assignment Details

• Part-time coverage
• Coverage needed for either:
  • One week per month: Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM, or
  • Two weekends per month: Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
• The locum physician will not be responsible for scheduled clinic patients
• Coverage consists of:
  • Inpatient consultations
  • Emergency Department consultations
  • 24-hour call coverage
• Support Staff: Dedicated OR team available
• Level III trauma

Call Responsibilities

• Inpatient Call: Yes
• Rounding Required: Yes
• Call Volume: Minimal; providers are infrequently called in, with many issues handled via phone consultation

Procedures

• No elective procedures will be scheduled for the locum provider.
• The physician will manage and perform urgent and emergent vascular procedures arising during call coverage.

Requirements

• Active Ohio Medical License
• Board Certification in Vascular Surgery
• Ability to perform all procedures outlined in the facility's vascular privileges/delineation
• Local or regional providers – Highly preferred
• Case Logs: Most recent two years
