Our organization is in search of a Physician to take on the role of Site Medical Director for our facility in Central Pennsylvania (Hanover).

The preferred candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in Hospitalist medicine and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee quality metrics and outcomes for the program.
• Engage with referring physicians and address their concerns effectively.
• Assess and provide feedback to practicing hospitalists regarding their clinical and administrative performance.
• Ensure that the patients of hospitalists meet the quality and satisfaction standards set by regulatory and payer organizations.
• Act as a liaison between the hospitalist program and various clinical departments.
• Guarantee timely communication with patients and provide opportunities for them to ask questions.
• Collaborate with other sectors of the health system to achieve system objectives related to the hospitalist program.
• Partner with nursing and other clinical team members to develop and implement care protocols for optimal patient care.
• Assist in the recruitment and retention of physicians to serve as hospitalists.
