You'll assist with daily living activities, collaborate with a caring interdisciplinary team, and make a meaningful impact, all while enjoying the flexibility you need for a healthy work-life balance.Why you'll love this role:Flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyleAutonomy in managing your day with strong team supportRewarding work that makes a real difference in patients' livesKey responsibilities:Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linensAssist with dressing, toileting, and mobility needsPlan and prepare nutritious meals; assist with feeding as neededTake and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) when orderedPerform range of motion exercises and simple therapy procedures as instructedMonitor and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurseMaintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patientsOffer emotional support and companionship to patients and familiesProvide respite care for family/caregivers when appropriateParticipate in care planning, team meetings, and quality improvement activitiesAdhere to documentation standards and professional conduct guidelinesRequirements:Current CNA certification and successful completion of state-approved training and competency evaluationAt least 18 years of ageAbility to read and follow written instructions and document the care providedComfortable providing specialized care to terminally ill patients, understands hospice philosophyEmpathy, tact, patience, and strong communication skillsCurrent CPR certificationValid driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation for agency-related travelGood organizational skills and ability to work independentlyThere's something special about PASCO/SW – it's our people.
