Customer Service Coordinator

Job Summary We are hiring a Customer Service Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Sunnyvale, CA, supporting a nonprofit charitable organization in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner. Answer customer questions and provide accurate information and resources. Deliver excellent in-person customer service in a busy service environment. Direct customers to the appropriate areas and support daily service operations. Maintain a positive, professional presence while collaborating with team members. Stay active, mobile, and engaged throughout an 8-hour shift. Compensation and Benefits Pay rate: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour. Job type: Temp-to-hire. Location: Sunnyvale, CA. Schedule requirement: Must be comfortable standing and moving throughout an 8-hour shift. Required Qualifications and Skills Provide front-facing customer service and assist customers with questions and information. Support daily service operations in a fast-paced customer care environment. Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members. Help create a welcoming, organized, and positive customer experience. 3 to 5 years of customer service experience preferred. Bilingual English and Mandarin skills are required. Retail customer service experience is highly relevant for this role. Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to stay professional, patient, and helpful during busy periods. Comfortable standing, walking, and remaining active throughout an 8-hour shift. Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to providing excellent service. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a nonprofit, charitable, community service, retail, or high-volume customer-facing environment. Ability to quickly learn service procedures, customer resources, and daily operational workflows. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and interest in growing into a long-term role.
