Join Our Team as an Optometrist

Are you an Optometrist seeking a fulfilling and flexible part-time position? We invite you to become a part of our organization, where you will conduct comprehensive eye examinations for U.S. Veterans as a component of the VA’s SHA process. This role is both rewarding and focused solely on assessments, without treatment or determination responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities

Access and review Veterans' medical records through a secure online portal.
Conduct thorough eye examinations, including Visual Field Testing (VFT) .
Complete and submit evaluation forms via the web portal within 24 hours following the exam.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Current licensure as an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist.
Expertise in Visual Field Testing (VFT) .
Credentialing that meets the VA's standards.
A strong commitment to serving Veterans.
Ability to analyze medical records and examination results to produce accurate and timely reports.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to submit forms within specified timelines.
