Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview
- Position: Senior Full Stack Engineer
- Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite 4 days/week)
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure web applications, taking complete ownership from UI to backend services.
- Architecture & API Integration: Build reusable React UI components and design RESTful APIs/microservices using Java or Node.js.
- Engineering Standards: Write clean, tested code, participate in architecture discussions, perform code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
- Operational Support: Support production releases, troubleshooting, and on-call rotations in an Agile/Scrum setting.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5 8 years of full-stack development experience.
- Frontend: Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
- Backend: Solid foundation in Java (Spring Boot) or Node.js.
- Architecture & Data: REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Core Practices: Authentication/security standards, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Languages & Frameworks: Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, and Java.
- Cloud & DevOps: AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3), Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Integrations: Event-driven architecture (Kafka, SNS/SQS).
- Domain: Background in retail, Point-of-Sale (POS), or enterprise systems.
