Litigation Associate

Overview Unique Litigation Associate opportunity with a well-rounded, down-to-earth law firm and great Managing Partner mentorship. Our client is looking to add 2 Associates with anywhere from 2-7 years of experience to touch on a wide-variety of matters including, but not limited to: insurance defense, general liability, complex commercial, product liability, etc. This is a defense firm with work/life balance and heavy bonuses throughout the year. Responsibilities Handle matters across insurance defense, general liability, complex commercial, product liability, and related litigation areas. Conduct legal research, investigation, writing, and verbal advocacy as part of case preparation. Prepare and respond to initial pleadings, motions to dismiss, demands, discovery, motions for summary judgment, and other trial-related court filings. Qualifications Must be barred in NY. Excellent legal research, investigation, writing, and verbal skills.
