COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Overview Position Title: Communications Manager – Bay Area. Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 / yr. What You'll Do Partner with the Director to build quarterly communication plans, channel strategy, and editorial calendars. Measure performance through analytics and pulse surveys. Craft authentic emails, newsletters, decks, webcasts, and intranet content. Own weekly internal newsletter and support executive communications and rapid-response communications when needed. Guide employee engagement plans with HR and Employee Experience. Coordinate companywide webcasts and town halls—from invitations to rehearsals to post-event recordings. Serve as the go-to point for parent company communications, press materials, and annual events and awards. Maintain intranet presence on-brand; collaborate with the Digital Asset Manager to ensure photography is distributed to the right channels. Contribute to internal and external storytelling through blogs, magazines, and other media. What You Bring 5–7 years of internal, corporate, or employee communications experience; bonus points if in food service, hospitality, or multi-site organizations. Track record of clear, confident executive communications, including managing urgent messages within complex organizations. Experience as a trusted communications partner to C-suite leaders and HR teams. Portfolio demonstrating writing across emails, intranet posts, decks, newsletters, scripts, and more. Comfort with PowerPoint/Canva, intranet/CMS platforms (Inkling and SharePoint a plus), and newsletter tools like Contact Monkey. Strong project management instincts with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and stakeholders. Who You Are You bring creativity to every format and channel.
