Service Technician - Commercial HVAC

Service Technician – Commercial HVAC ($35.00 – $50.00 per hour, plus spiffs) Work Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday–Friday; occasional overtime. Responsibilities Provide service, maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial and residential HVAC systems. Perform retrofit/change‑out installations. Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers, explaining problems and solutions. Educate customers on preventative maintenance and indoor‑air‑quality products and services. Work with furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, split systems, RTUs, walk‑in and reach‑in coolers, freezers, chillers, make‑up air units, etc. Perform necessary duct work. Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints. Operate scissors and genie lifts safely. Install Trane and Bryant equipment. Qualifications 3+ years of HVAC commercial and residential service experience. Experience with annual maintenance. Refrigeration experience (desired). EPA Universal Certification. Expertise troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial and residential HVAC equipment. Strong customer‑service communication skills. Familiar with air‑balancing principles and techniques. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Completion of HVAC technical school (desired). Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
