Clinical Psychology Faculty

the client invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions in a Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.). The program follows a practitioner-scholar model and offers a dual theoretical orientation, including cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches. The client is particularly interested in candidates with demonstrated expertise in psychodynamic psychotherapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and personality assessment. the successful candidate will contribute to department and university committees, develop an extramurally funded research program that engages students, and provide supervision for student practicum experiences. Applicants are expected to hold a PhD, PsyD, or equivalent in psychology and possess a New York State license in psychology or be license-eligible in New York. The role also calls for a strong record of excellence in teaching and scholarly activity, including peer-reviewed publications and grant writing, along with enthusiasm for advancing the program’s academic, research, and clinical training components. the client values free and open discourse as a core principle of learning.
