DD Day Program Staff
Summary
Assist the DD Day Program Manager in organizing, coordinating and providing support to IDD individuals in a group setting with transportation, group activities, work-related skills and activities of daily living. Drive customers from Neodesha to Parsons with company vehicle. Full-time. Persons from Neodesha KS with experience in working with a variety of disabilities are encouraged to apply.
Essential Job Functions
- Provide assistance and training to individuals with their work related activities and Independent Living skills
- Promote activities and work on goals that will increase the individuals independent living skills in the workplace and in the community
- Provide transportation as needed
- Assist DD Day Program Manager with organizing social activities and day support activities in the community
- Work with individuals in developing appropriate behavior skills in the area of anger management
- Assist DD Day Program Manager with supporting documentation, such as activity logs, information and referral forms, time sheets and customer packets
Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Have a valid Driver's License
- Experience working in direct care with a variety of disabilities is a plus
- Pass background checks
