Position Summary

Client is seeking a Project Manager Program Implementation to support the implementation of Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) and its portfolio of 13 approved initiatives.

The Project Manager will provide hands-on project management and implementation support across the RHTP portfolio, working closely with EOHHS leadership, Interdepartmental Project Managers, EOHHS liaisons, initiative leads, state agencies, subrecipients, contractors, and other program partners.

The successful candidate will focus on day-to-day implementation, project coordination, follow-up, documentation, tracking, and execution while ensuring activities remain aligned with approved plans, timelines, budgets, milestones, deliverables, and federal requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management, program implementation, or project coordination .
• Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders, teams, organizations, or workstreams .
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously .
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to track detailed project activities and follow up on outstanding action items.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate project status, risks, issues, and dependencies clearly.
• Experience coordinating project meetings, developing agendas, documenting decisions, tracking action items, and following up with stakeholders.
• Ability to identify project risks, barriers, delays, and dependencies and escalate issues appropriately.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and multiple organizations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel/spreadsheets, project management software, and project tracking tools .
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a government, healthcare, public-sector, or highly regulated environment .
• Must be able to work onsite in Cranston, RI three days per week .
• Local candidates only.
• Ability to commit to a 35-hour workweek for the duration of the contract.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting implementation of public-sector, healthcare, public health, behavioral health, human services, or community-based programs .
• Experience working with state or federal government programs.
• Experience with federal grants management, procurement, contracting, or program reporting .
• Experience managing complex programs involving multiple initiatives or workstreams.
• Experience working with government agencies, contractors, subrecipients, or community partners.
• Familiarity with program implementation frameworks, project dashboards, trackers, and performance reporting.
