Payroll Coordinator

CR Fletcher is seeking a Payroll Coordinator for a client company. This role supports payroll processing and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential employee information while meeting deadlines.

Job Summary/Responsibilities:

• Process and maintain accurate payroll records, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments.
• Review employee timesheets, timekeeping records, and payroll data for accuracy.
• Maintain employee payroll files and update information regarding new hires, terminations, and pay changes.
• Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, and other payroll adjustments.
• Ensure payroll practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assist with payroll tax reporting, deductions, and required documentation.
• Respond to employee questions regarding paychecks, deductions, and payroll discrepancies.
• Reconcile payroll records and assist with reporting and audits.
• Collaborate with Human Resources and Accounting to ensure accurate employee and payroll information.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and financial information.

Qualifications (if provided):

• Previous payroll, accounting, or administrative experience preferred.
• Familiarity with payroll systems and timekeeping software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
