Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bakery Clerk to join our team. As a Bakery Clerk, you will assist in the daily operations of our bakery department, ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and quality products.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare bakery items such as cookies, cake, I-cream, Tea an Coffee.
- Assist customers with bakery orders and provide product recommendations
- Operate and sanitize bakery equipment following safety guidelines
- Handle cash register transactions and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area
- Stock shelves and display cases with fresh bakery products
- Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs efficiently

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems for transactions
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation standards
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on sales
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
