In this role you will provide diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients for physician diagnosis, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills. Education & Qualification Requirements Graduation from a Committee on Allied Health Education (CAHEA) accredited program in sonography and registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Licensure & Certification Requirements Registered by the ARDMS within 1 year of hire. Must be certified in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular within 24 months of hire. Staff assigned to work in the Ashland location are not required to obtain Vascular certification. For West Market and Brainerd Lakes Locations: Must be certified in one of the following areas within 12 months - Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Breast, or Nuchal Translucency. West: If in North Dakota, must have a current license on the North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire. If working in Department 2010-2042320 MSK Ultrasound - SMDC HOSP, must complete ARDMS MSK Certification within 24 months.
