Responsibilities Working knowledge about determining food quality including storage, rotation and labeling procedures. Transports food items to and from purchasing area to kitchens in order to replenish items as needed to ensure consistency, freshness and rotation of products for the guest. Checks and controls amount of food items being utilized and rotation in storage areas of prepared foods, maintaining freshness and quality of product. Informs the manager if food does not meet Hilton’s high standards. Picks up and delivers requisitions of supplies and food items for kitchens. Picks up requisitions from Purchasing and stores products in designated areas. Labels all products and rotates items to ensure freshness Records and maintains temperature log to abide by HACCP Program. Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent preferred Experience One year restaurant (food industry) experience preferred. Licenses or Certificates Food Service Sanitation Compensation The compensation for this position is $16.50/Hr. - $16.50/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
